Today I drove to my most Favorite Quilt shop of the world - Heart to Hands - and I spent the day with some of my most favorite people. I have photo's here of Mary, Karen and Janet. They have all been a part of my quilting journey thus far. Mary and I drove to Baudette, MN to a quilt retreat last Winter. We had the best time driving there, and the retreat was held in a Resort on a river separating United States and Canada. The resort was owned by Karen's son and daughter-in-law. Karen was there as well. It was a great weekend. As I recall, the weekend was also my wedding anniversary, and it was a great gift from my husband :) Janet and I have been friends since I can't remember when. But she invited me to a quilt retreat in Bemidji, MN about 5 years ago and I've been going ever since. These ladies have all taught me a lot about technique, colors and design. Thank you ladies!
