These are my girlfriends - we met on a Girl Scout Canoe Trip about 12 years ago and we try to get together once or twice a year. I guess we "bonded" on that trip. All the hardship - the pain and the fact that the guides could have been our children and they were very bossy. Anyway - this photo was taken last August in Duluth. We rented a suite at a Motel and spent a couple nights, visited Canal Street and drove up the North Shore for a picnic and even got a ride on the Vista Queen - it was a calm night with a full moon. Couldn't have asked for a nicer weekend than that.
