Wood Tick Lake - the last of the ice...

This is a photo of "Black Ice". It's when the ice turns black and then it just turns into water and becomes a part of the lake. This is how it looked on my way to work this morning and when I came home, the water was open and the ice was gone. It happens on all of the lakes and it's a sign of Spring. I also heard my first Loon call this morning, and I saw my first Robin on my way home from work. I heard on the radio that the temperature is going to drop this weekend and it might snow an inch - but we know it's going to melt and the weather is getting warmer.
