Life doesn't get any better than this....

I did what I have never done before - I bought a Singer Featherweight 221 sewing machine off of a Craigslist ad on the internet. It's a long story, but thanks to my Brother-In-Law, Bob, I now am the proud owner of a Featherweight. And here it is. My two good friends, Janet and Mary went with me to observe the birth - well, the purchase of the machine. I bought it in Forest Lake, MN. My brother-in-law helped by stopping at the garage sale yesterday and putting $100.00 down on the machine to hold it so I could drive to Forest Lake to pay the rest and pick it up today. Today was also the last day of the Minnesota Shop Hop and we went to 5 stores on our way back home. Overall - we had a great day and I would do it again in a minute. Oh, and I named my machine....
