Knitting a Bear

This is a class that I am taking where I am learning some new techniques. One is knitting a tube. It's really cool. I'm as far as I can get the first week. I did one thing wrong - somehow I purled instead of knit. I think it might have had something to do with when I slipped the stitch and maybe my yarn was in back and should have been in front. Not sure - the Teacher needs to take a look and let me know. But I think that's what I did. Next week, we learn how to kitchener stitch the arms, we make the neck and then I think we might even knit the face of the bear with double point needles. The last week, we knit the ears, embroider the face and talk about making a little sweator and/or scarf. This is really a fun project and can't wait to make another and I haven't even finished this one yet!
