Some Photo's that make me happy

 I like these chickens knitting - reminds me of my friends, The Knit Wits. We try to meet once a month at Grand Manor but it's been busy this summer and it hasn't happened, but I imagine this fall things will slow down and we'll get together again - to visit and knit and tell jokes and laugh. 

 

This is a photo of Bill and Myself taken in 2009 around Laura's high school graduation at the Forest Lake Restaurant - can't remember exactly what was going on, but we looked pretty good that night.

 

 

This is a photo of my Grandparents at my parents wedding in Montgomery, Minnesota. It was taken in May 1949. The two on the left are my Dad's parents and the two on the right are my Mom's parents

 

Laura received her Master's Degree at Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana this past May, 20123

 

We are selling our house in the country and moved into town. I'll miss the old place but not the big yard - it was a bugger to mow.

 

This is not my quilt - but I sure wish it was. I would like to make one just like it.

This is a photo ot the spinning wheel I own. I tried using it and the wheel is so small it goes around faster than I can get the roving/wool in and I guess I should have purchased one with a larger wheel. I'm looking into it. I heard spinning is very relaxing. I'm looking for ways to relax.
